Meet Melissa

I’ve been in the fitness and nutrition industry for over 20 years, and during that time, I’ve seen firsthand how confusing it can be to determine what works. That’s what inspired me to start The Metabolic Mom. My goal is to help women stop wasting time on trendy diets and workouts that don’t stick, and instead focus on what truly works.

I earned a master’s degree in Exercise Physiology and spent years working with women doing research-level testing. I realized this knowledge could help everyone understand their bodies and make real progress. That’s when I decided to bring those solutions to everyone, not just my private clients.

I live in Richmond, VA, with my husband, David, and our two beautiful daughters, Kalina and Mia. Being a mom and running a women owned business has taught me that fitness needs to fit into your life, not take over.

I want you to feel capable and confident with advice that is clear, sustainable, and built for you.
